TRANG’S GOODREADS 2016 READING CHALLENGE PROGRESSION
EH BOYY. ITS SUMMER AND WERE SO BEHIND LOL
LASHAAN
Paulo Coelho.. Who would dare not know such a name yet proclaim love for books? (I hope you ain’t one of them!) The Alchemist is one of those rare novels that teachers back in high school made us read. I know it demands a reread after so many years, cause I’m 200% sure I will see a lot of things (if not everything) that I missed.
This quote is one of the most popular ones from him and I have to say that it just simply carries something quite magical. Something you truly want will somehow manage to come to life. Only… If it’s what you really want. The world just has its ways in making it happen. Let’s just hope what you want isn’t something like the end of the world. All right? 😛
TRANG
I’ve learned a lot of things this summer and one of those things is to love yourself even more. Make time for you and good things will follow 🙂
LASHAAN’S LIFE
July? Felt like it was replenished with light. As if something lost was now found. A lot of adventures, a lot of discoveries, but also a lot of routine. I’ve completed a huge chunk of a task I had to do at work, and I’m on the verge of exploring drugs, prison and criminals even more in depth (P.S. My field of studies = Criminology).
Already August! Tell me that doesn’t sound horrible. Clearly, I can’t help but think that in exactly 1 month, I’m going to be handed over course plans. At least I won’t have as many classes as before since this is going to be all about my Masters now! Weird thing is, I’m quite excited to see what the next level is like. From then on, all I’m going to be doing will mark my life forever. Every single thing, and I’m ready for the new challenges.
TRANG’S LIFE
The month of July was The MEET THE DEADLINE MONTH, I had so many reports and assignments to write for my work @the labs ahaha 🙂 It’s also the month where I went back to coffee crawling in Montreal, discovering new places in my own town. I post the pics on my instagram@trangreeny, feel free to check it out!
For anybody who hasn’t already followed us, here’s a list of all the places where you can find us. Don’t forget to like, follow and subscribe!
Oh, no ! You’re both behind schedule. No pressure, but I hope you can catch up later this year, especially during the holidays!
I think Trang is reading the better books this month. Sorry, Lashaan. But Uprooted is on my TBR as well and The Darkest Minds looks really good too.
It looks like you both are at an exciting time in your lives. And even though you’re so busy, you still find the time to blog frequently and entertain us all. Thank you so much for that. ❤

I’ll be curious what you think of The Knife of Never Letting go Lashaan! It definitely wasn’t for me, but I’m dying to know what other people think about it!

Oh no! I’ve heard that it’s the type of series that people would either love or hate, with no one in between. I’m just too pumped to find out more about Patrick Ness’ storytelling skills!

Trang! You’re reading Vicious! You won’t regret this absolutely amazing book, (I honestly can’t stop raving about it) I can’t wait to see what you thought about it later 🙂
I also loooove that quote, I think it’s good to remember in times when you feel as if everything is against you.
