HI MY LOVELIES !
Today’s post will be all about those cute coffee shops that we have here in Montreal 🙂 I spent a lot of time coffee crawling this summer and I discovered some amazing chilling places.. and BOOK NOOKS.
How else to discover a city than by going into coffee shops AND READ right? Montreal has one the largest quantities of cute coffee shops ever. #Blessed!
This green pastel and gold place is so unique and cute ! Their booth are super comfortable and it’s actually a bicycle repair place.
500 Rue Beaubien E, Montréal, QC H2S 1S5
One of my favourite discoveries this summer ! An industrial and modern look in the middle of the McGill University Campus. They have a real book nook with a couch so you can read quietly.
51 Rue Sherbrooke O, Montréal, QC H2X 1X2
A newly open Cafe in Plaza St-Hubert, very cozy and they have a beautiful mural painting inside the coffee shop. While they also got a booknook, it only has one chair haha. Make sure to be the 1st one to spot it 😉
6293 Rue St-Hubert, Montréal, QC H2S 2L9
Look at these cute chairs below ! Small place but they got all you need : good drinks and comfortable chairs. They did have AC but it was extremely hot outside and crowded, even the AC couldn’t keep up. That’s how popular the place can be ! But it’s definitely a place to go in Fall and Winter 🙂
378 Rue Saint-Zotique E, Montréal, QC H2S 1L7
Opened recently in Westmount, THIS COFFEE SHOP IS SO FR**KN SEXY! Black walls and gold outlines, on top of that, they have this beautiful fashion display table and arty cafes. Love the chic look of the place ! The baristas were outstanding in their customer service.
5135 Rue Sherbrooke O, Montréal, QC H4A 3M6
Last, but not least, this magnificent and enchanting hipster cafe ! Everything about this coffee is perfect .. except when the place is packed and there’s no AC #melting LOL It’s in the center of Old-Port (a popular attraction in Montreal) so they receive a lot of tourists here.
British Empire Building, 200 Rue Notre-Dame O, Montréal, QC H2Y 1T3
I would add more coffee shops but the list will be too long , if you are interested in seeing more posts like this (top spots to study, etc.) let me know ! All of these places are picked by taking into consideration the essential elements of a booknook: good lighting and wifi haha 😉
That’s it for today 🙂
This is such a great post! I’ll definitely have to check some of these out the next time I’m in Montreal! 😄

Argh, I need to move to Montreal, like, right now LOL 😀 Such great book nooks! Cafe Osmo looks the most appealing to me, with Cafe Pista being a close second. Great post, Trang! Way to make me resent living in the middle of nowhere in Sri Lanka 😀

Some of those coffee shops look really nice. As far as I know, there aren’t too many shops with a book supply like that where I live (Waterloo, Ontario), but there are some great cafes with a great supply of board games.
