          1. Ahhh, gotcha. See, I like that kind of music by itself (without any lyrics) as long as the bass doesn’t drive a spike into my skull.
Big fan of Moby’s (now I’m wondering whatever happened to him anyway)

  1. Thanks for the tag, BookBats 😉 Nocturnal habits, detective skills, hard instrumental music.. I’m guessing Zimmer from Nolan’s trilogy 😛 And yeah, 5 hours may be on the long side, but not beyond our routine 😉 That’s why we only post once a week! 😂

  2. Wow five hours to write a review (if you discount what you said about getting it done in one hour I mean) seems like such a long time to me, but yeah I imagine the pictures you take (which are always amazing BTW) take up a lot of that time. Normally my reviews are done in an hour, and yeah like you I always try and get to them shortly after I finish a book, but I’ve been slumping on writing them so I’m seriously behind at the moment. Oh well. 🙂
Also yay for nocturnal writers! I’m always more awake in the evenings so it’s when my brain focuses enough for me to actually write anything. I’m not coherent until about 11am most days! Sucks when I have to work really early.
Great answer for this tag Lashaan, and thanks for the tag too. 🙂 ❤

    1. Aww man, I truly appreciate the kind words on those pictures. I always end up feeling like I’m wasting my time with them, but because I sort of like the consistancy and how pretty it sometimes (or always hahah) turns out, I just keep on putting time into doing them. Ahhh yes the slumps are definitely dangerous when you prefer reviewing as soon as possible! 😦 I’d always try and do a draft with just words or ideas somewhere (word document or on wordpress) just so I don’t forget them.

Hahahah yess! Love that so many of us are nocturnal writers. 😛 I envy those who can do in the morning though. 😮 Thanks for reading and it’s my pleasure! Just adding an extra tag to your probably-huge backlog! 😀

      1. No definitely not, I always love seeing pictures on people’s reviews so I appreciate the effort that goes into them. I’d love to do them on my reviews but I never have the time/motivation. This weekend I’m going to force myself to sit down and actually write them. It feels like the only thing that’d work.
That’s all right, and I’ll get around to them all eventually. It will just take me a little (probably long) while. 😀

  3. I admire that you can write your review so soon after finishing a book, I always take AGES to write my reviews and… when I finally do, I regret everything because I can’t remember all the details hahaha.
Lovely answers for this tag!! 🙂 ❤

    1. Hahahaah I fear losing all my ideas if I let it stall long than a week! 😛 I have 2 books that have suffered that life, but it’s mostly because they were buddy-read with my co-blogger and she sort of postponed them all to forever and it never saw life. 😛 Thanks for reading, Marie! 😀

  4. Lashaan can’t believe I missed this post… And I am tagged?!!! I am generally so slow on doing them. Keeping this bookmarked for next year. Thank you so much… I am a sloth in tags 😂😂

  5. You can definitely tell you take the time to write your reviews. They are always so thoughtful and insightful and well written. I definitely feel like I could take a little more time when I write mine. I am never happy with them, but I hit “publish” anyways. Fun tag!

    1. Waaaahhh! That’s incredibly kind of you!!! 😮 Really appreciate that you even take the time to read anything I write though. Even if it isn’t something you’d typically pick up. Really appreciate it! But I do have to admit that there are times that I’m not satisfied with what I publish too hahah I just hit that publish button before the clock strikes 12! 😂

  6. Great answers on an amazingly sensible tag. I try to review everything within a couple of days of when I read them, but since I too usually take around 5 hours to write a review – a lot of that is rereading a large portion of the book looking for one fact or name, or a good quote to include – I have gotten really far behind in the last month.

Hope you guys have a really great year next year!

    1. Thanks Lora! 😀 I totally understand. There was a title where I used to include spoilers, invisible unless highlighted, and had even lengthier reviews too. I loved those days, but those were the times were I could put a lot of time into it and write even more on themes and what not that I really wanted to point out. I find my current review length and time-spent to be the most optimal in terms of satisfaction, fun and somewhat quality too. I just like structure and how a person conveys their thoughts. It’s why I’m even more appreciative of everyone of you who take the time to even read ONE of my reviews.

Thank YOU for still sticking around. I feel like it’s been ages since we’ve known each other. 😮 Hope you have a wonderful 2019 too, Lora! 😀
