  1. Run, Forest, RUUUUUN!
So the Irishman was good? Will keep that in mind when I have a moment and a chance to watch it.
November has been a blur. As if Thanksgiving was only a couple days after Halloween. One more month and the world will slow down again. But then, it’s too boring. I wish we could find the common ground between the nothing and the madness.

    1. Oh yes, it might be a very long movie (3h30min) but it was worth it. Even scenes that you might think could have been cut out will feel very, very necessary for the character development that occurs. I do hope you enjoy it when you get around to it!

Ahh yes, I do feel like that there’s always ONE holiday or event every month that turns it all into a hectic period but I guess it’s up to us to find that balance we seek! 😀

  2. Man, yo! It was a busy month for me too. For a while I wasn’t sure how I would meet all my deadlines at work, but things worked out. Hopefully December will be a lot more chill for us.

  3. I’ve had some Brent Weeks sitting on my shelves for quite a while now. One of these days I need to give them a try. I love re-reading The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings every so often (though not too often). Great memories. Here’s hoping for a challenging, productive, and enjoyable December.

    1. And I heavily recommend his Lightbringer series, especially now that it’s completed with the fifth book having come out in October.

I look forward to diving into the LotR trilogy for the first time in 2020. The Hobbit was such a wonderful experience this year.

Hope you have a tremendous month of December, sir! 😀

  4. I hoped to see the Irishman today, but we got back home to late and watching it now would keep us up past midnight, not doable on Sunday 😦 Maybe next Saturday, if I convince my girlfriend it’s better than dancing…

      1. My girlfriend laughed, suspiciously loud, but I’m not sure how I should feel about this assessment 😉 well, we’ll see what happens, perhaps we can find a way to do both the dancing and the watching 🙂

  5. I will get to Weeks at some point, but first – Moby Dick 😀 And A Little Hatred… Oh, well. I’m sure I’ll read it one day 😉

I’m glad you had a good month! Mine’s pretty busy too, but it seems it’s not going to change anytime soon, so I guess I’m resigned to it by now 😉 Good luck in December, Lashaan!

    1. I think you’re the first one to actually have Moby Dick on your list of must-reads considering that everytime it’s mentioned people seem to say “ugh…”. I do hope you enjoy those and that you get the chance to try some Weeks.

It does seem like you’ve been busy but I really appreciate the time you put into sharing reviews with us and for always dropping by my posts. 😀

      1. Hah, I never vowed to finish it 😉 but I’m definitely willing to give Moby Dick a fighting chance. It is a mammoth of a book, so I’ll probably end up reading it with at least one more book at the same time, but it’s one of the few classics I haven’t read yet. So, a must-read! 😀

Oh, reading your posts and engaging in discussions with you is always a pleasure, Lashaan! 😀

  6. I’m so happy The Hobbit was your favourite book and also that I saw your monthly favourite movie with you! 😍 The mobster trio? What is this name? It reminds me of lobsters and confuses me🦀 (couldn’t find lobster emoji so here’s a crab instead) 😂
Even if it feels like a long time ago now, November was a great month for me too! 😁
