happy new year 2021 : a reflection

Hi all! Trang’s here (: As the year comes to and end, I would like to wish everyone a happy new year! 2020 has been such a big year dealing with crisis all over the world, a pandemic, the US elections, and I only hope that it will get better. But face with all of the uncertainty, the pandemic has forced me to put a lot of things into perspective and also see my own struggles for what it really is. After dealing with so many anxiety problems and burnout, I made a pledge to myself.

From now on, I want to make 2021 the year of Me-Time, where I would take a break from everything and reflect on what I really want to do, what I really need. I consider even a change of careers and I want to find the path that allow me to be the most authentic self. Without any society pressures, really doing things for me and my health.

In a society where we are always pushed to be productive, to be more than what we are and to do things without thinking twice, I myself am a very ambitious girl and would only think about results, results, results and that cost me greatly my health.

Until I find what I’m looking for, I want to thank you all for this wonderful year 2020 and I will see you soon in 2021!

What are your wishes for 2021 ? Let me know in the comments section below,

  1. Happy New Year, Trang! It’s not easy coming to the realization you’re no longer happy as you are, and even more difficult to make positive changes. I wish you all the best as you seek out your next direction.

  2. Exactly concentrating on yourself and self reflection are very important.
For me, one thing I have started this year is bullet journalling let’s see how that goes:))
    Happy New Year to you❤️
