Sorry to hear about your Grandma. I completely understand how it might not directly affect you but you are affected by how it affects others. Such is family life. Be strong for them.
14 movies? That’s a movie every other day. That’s, ummm, a lot. It just blows me away to realize other people watch that much.
Well said. I’m not particularly close with any blood ties except my immediate family (e.g., mom, dad, and brother) and that’s probably because of how I was born and raised as a Quebecor/Canadian heheh. But death remains universal and being there and showing my respects is the minimum I can do.
Hahaha you say that all the time. Do you realize how many movies tensecondsfromnow probably watches per month? Probably more books and movies combined between you and me per month! 😛
I’m with you about family. Growing up my mom kept us all together with her sisters and their families, but once we all grew up, we went our separate ways and nobody really cares, you know?
Yeah, I don’t think about Dix. He’s an almost professional reviewer. It’s his JOB to put his brain through the blender for us 😀
Uh, oh, I’m at the stage where I’m starting to repeat myself. emergency, Emergency, EMERGENCY!!!!!!
Hahaha time flies when we’re having fun! And I’m convinced you’ve been having a blast with all your books! Thank you so much for your kind words. I appreciate it a lot.
I’m sorry about your grandmother, Lashaan. It’s must be hard specially for your mother. I hope funeral goes well.
Silence looks intense and a bit scary. I find the trials in name of god really terrifying.
Thank you so much, Yesha. Everything went quite well. Things should be calmer as we progress through July.
Oh yes. Very intense but so, so eye-opening. It will for sure make you question a lot of things too. I highly recommend it if you’re ready for a formidable thought-provoking movie. 🙂
I’m sorry to hear about your grandmother. I hope memories of her are comforting for your mom. Some loses are especially difficult…we’re never old enough to lose a parent.
My hubs and I are rooting for Montreal from California! 🏒
So very sorry for your loss! These things are never easy ❤ I hope you can find some rest and relaxation this month aside from the preparations and work. Also, happy belated birthday!!! I hope it was a good one!
Thanks, Kat. I appreciate it a lot. The coming days should get better for just about everyone and, hopefully, July will turn out to be an excellent summer month! Stay safe, my friend!
My condolences for the loss of your grandmother: I hope that time will help your mother come to terms with it – it’s a long process, but at least she has the rest of her family to help her along…
Thank you so much, Maddalena. I appreciate it. She’s surrounded by her sisters and brother and I think it has helped a lot to deal with the situation together. Stay well!
Sorry to hear about your Grandma. Mine passed away last month, at an age of 100. None of us were close to her at all (I havent seen her for at least 20+ years, and neither has my mom as far as I know), but its still family. We offered to attend the funeral, but seeing as even her kids really didn’t find the whole ceremony necessary they really didn’t feel the need for us to come (especially with corona).
Thank you so much. My condolences for your loss as well. Mine was 92 and I totally relate with you. Especially with the COVID situation, there was no way everyone around the world could come to us here too. Showing our respect is honestly all we could do in these cases.
What a month, Lashaan, with quite a mix of good and bad, something life seems very good at dealing us every so often. Happy belated birthday. And sorry to hear about your grandmother. I’ve never been very good at dealing with those sorts of losses, and it can really hit hard when it affects those closest to you. I wish you and your family well while dealing with this and the healing that comes later. I’m glad to see, despite it all, you had some great entertainment mixed in and hope you’ll be able to continue that in the coming days. Take care, my friend!
Thank you for the birthday wishes and for your condolences, my friend. I agree. Loss of people who aren’t that close to you affects us much less but during these past few days, it did make me realize that if the deceased was someone VERY close to me, I don’t know how emotionally stable I can remain… I haven’t yet dealt with such a loss and I’m convinced it’s going to be tough. The next days should get better for everyone and hopefully, I can get back to my routine quickly too! Take care as well, Todd!
Oh wow! That’s quite a month you had, Lashaan. I’m sorry your grandma passed. My condolences to you and your family, and I do hope your mum is doing okay. It is hard to lose a parent.
Sounds like the body-cam project is coming along nicely 🙂 And a happy belated birthday, yo!!
I’m really sorry to hear about your grandma and the pain your mom is going through. 😥
It sounds like your month was full of ups and downs. Hoping July will prove to be a good month for you! 🙂
Also, Happy Belated Birthday! 😀
I appreciate the kind words. Thank you so much! Indeed. June was quite a hectic month but we pulled through! Hope you’ve been doing amazing things yourself in June and July! 😀
