Fab review Lashaan! Hmm I’m not sure I’ve heard of Green Arrow before, I wonder where he’s been hiding?

Thanks, Nicki! Apparently in the Arrow Cave (yep, he actually has one of those too!). 😛

The Arrow lasted for 8 years? Holy smokes, that’s comparable to Smallville!

The show became much bigger than initially intended, giving birth to the Arrowverse too. I wouldn’t say the quality was top-notch through all 8 seasons though… I had to embrace my masochistic side to get through the last 6 seasons…

Never been a big Green Arrow fan in the comics. We enjoyed seasons 1 and 2 on tv, but then the luster wore off. Nice review!

Totally understand. I too found that the show lost a lot of its potential after Deathstroke… Thanks for reading, Icky! 😀

I believe my only real exposure to Green Arrow was a collection of Kevin Smith’s interpretation of the character. I think I enjoyed it but I honestly don’t recall much of anything about it, other than it being an attractive hardcover edition. I suppose that fits your comment that his stories aren’t necessarily the most memorable, if the most memorable thing about it for me is how it was packaged. 🙂

I actually have that story and need to put up a review for it. But yes… He hasn’t really had much of a chance to really give us as many quality stories as you’d expect from someone that’s 80 years old! Then again, I didn’t read everything with him in it. 😛 Maybe he’ll surprise me in the next couple of years! Thanks for reading, Todd! 😀

Ouch, Grant Morrison must be pining somewhere in the corner now, Lashaan! 😀
Yeah, agree: Green Arrow is a C-roster character, really. His recent left turn seems gratuitous, and his whole persona doesn’t bear much scrutiny, as he seems to me more a soapbox for his various writers than a real character. Still, you seem to have enjoyed this, Lashaan! 😀

Hahahaha I used to praise the guy so much when I first started reading him but then I realized he has a bunch of stinkers that help me relativize my praise for him now. 😛 Glad to read we are on the same regarding his character. 😛 Thanks for reading, Ola!
