A sane Joker. Now I’ve seen everything

Ha! It’s an “Elseworlds” story though. He’s Jack Napier isn’t always 100% sane, which is the focus of the first two volumes. You’ll have to read them to find out if he’s really sane or not. 😀

A multi-volume Elseworlds? That does sound interesting…

Hence the “Murphyverse” title for this series. 😛 No news yet for the 3rd volume but we’re all pretty much convinced it’ll eventually come out. 😀

Interesting to hear Bruce Wayne is behind bars. You mentioned Harley being guided by Bruce Wayne’s wisdom. How so? Is she in communication with him? Or from past encounters? I’m not very familiar with the characters (canon or not). Awesome to see how much you enjoyed the story.

Yep, she goes to him in prison to exchange with him on things. This story is not canonical, it’s an “Elseworlds” type of deal with the idea that Joker might be sane and that Batman might be the villain to the eyes of everyone. Throughout the first two volumes you see some original takes on classic characters. This volume is more of a spin-off (sort like a volume 2.5) and explores Harley’s past and present (set 2 years after the second volume). Thanks for reading, Todd!

Now that is interesting ‘what if’ concept. I like Harley Quinn and I enjoy self-discovery theme. This sounds like something I will enjoy. Amazing review, Lashaan!

Glad to see you enjoyed this one so much, Lashaan! I only read the first White Knight and must admit that I was less than enthusiastic 😉 but a Harley Quinn spinoff sounds interesting!

Oh yes, I do remember. I can’t say you’ll be much more enthusiastic with the 2nd volume but maybe this spin-off will tickle your fancy a bit more. Then again, it also means you’d have to read volume 2 first hahah Thanks for reading, Ola! 😀

Harley looks nerdier in this one than what I am used to.
It seems to me that whenever a bad guy (or girl) gets paired with a cop, cool stuff happens. Whether it’s a show, a book, or a graphic novel, it seems to be a successful idea.

Yep, she embraces her psychotherapist side a lot more here, both intellectually and visually. 😉 And yes, that is true. Polar opposites facing the same obstacle usually lead to an explosive and entertaining moment! 😀
