My Overall Rating:

You can find out more about my thoughts by visiting me over on my blog here:

While I’d love to see Jim Lee illustrate Supes, I don’t think I could stomach a story of existential guilt that is just patently false and only because the writers “say so”.

It’s sad since Jim Lee jumped straight onto this project right after his classic Batman: Hush story. You’d think we’d get something unanimously adored out of this but… nop. I could imagine you bleeding from your eyes if you had to read this story, to be honest hahahah

I saw this pop up in my email, so I had to see what the rating for it was. Thank you. This was a horrible story. It did have good artwork, but still.

I am glad to hear that I’m not the only one who thought this was atrocious. I’m grateful that it at least had Jim Lee’s artwork to help me flip through it but… damn. This was rough. Thanks for reading.

Thank goodness the art work was good Lashaan but not enough to push up your rating though. Is there any hope for Superman?

I’m grateful that it at least had good artwork to keep me going! I’m sure there’s hope for the guy who represents hope! 😛 I just need to review the right ones! 😛

I hope it’s just me and my bad memory but it seems you’ve had quite a bad run lately with comic-related fare. If so I certainly hope it turns around soon. There’s got to still be some great stories being told out there. Not going to lose hope! 🙂

I think it’s much more that I seem to be reviewing the bad ones and need to mix things up a bit more hahaha Then again, I did get through that huge Walking Dead compendium that got all five stars for me. A nice highlight to remind us that there’s always some good in the world. Even if it’s in the form of a very gory… sinister… evil… post-apocalyptic zombie story. 😛

Azzarello strikes again! LOL!!! 😛 Yeah, these days I’m steering clear from anything he does, it’s just embarrassingly bad. I do like Lee, he’s amazing, but not enough to slog through this 😉
Great review, Lashaan!
