Hello ladies & gentlemen,
Who doesn’t love the anticipation of new releases and things that they plan on doing? Every month there seems to be something new and exciting ready to hit the market for our consumption.
Being ready to embrace them with open arms is all we can really do.
You can find out more about my thoughts by visiting me over on my blog here:
Yours truly,

Seeing The Veiled Throne just reminds me that I need to start reading that series. I’ve had the first book on my shelf for more than a year.

I definitely wonder if it’s something I should add to my TBR myself. It sounds pretty good though. Hope you get around to it soon, Kim! 😀

I Liked Witcher but at the same time I felt I couldn’t say where the story was going. Second season looks dark and terrific. Those who have read books might have better idea about this show and they must have enjoyed it more.

I do hope that the second season will do better and make the show more appealing, both to newcomers and longtime fans of the books! 😀

I can’t wait to see No Way Home! I have tickets for the first showing on release day and I’m so excited! Also cannot wait for the Witcher!

I can’t wait for it too! Soooo relieved I won’t have to suffer through potential spoilers on social media afterward too. 😛

I’m very conflicted about the Matrix movie. I really liked the first movie but thought the Watchowski’s ruined any potential with the 2 sequels. So if it’s a standalone, it has potential. If it’s the kickoff to a new trilogy, then all hope is lost….

I also hope it’s not the beginning of a new series but… considering how the business works today… I won’t be surprised if they make a spin-off or even TV series with it after…

WWI is such a forgotten struggle. It is odd to see this fantasized version of it’s beginning in ‘The King’s Man’. I’m not a big CGI guy, but I’ll put up with it to enjoy this film.

That’s true. It’s nice that it can still be used to tell some stories. I just hope The King’s Man will redeem the franchise between the 2nd movie was utter poopy!

I have not managed to read Station Eleven yet, despite the very positive comments I’ve heard from trusted friends and fellow booklovers, so the arrival of the series might prove helpful – and at the very least I will get to know the story by watching the show… 🙂

Oh yes! A review by you of that book would also make me want to get my hands on a copy of the book to read too! 😀

The Kingsman looks fantastic, definitely want to see that one. Oh and spiderman too, although I’m not that keen on Tom Holland, much prefer Toby Maguire, showing my age I guess! 😂

I too have a soft spot for my boy Maguire! The man gave us the original Spider-Man after all! Hope you get the chance to see these movies, Nicki! 😀

Even though I haven’t read Station Eleven… I know a little of the premise. And it looks interesting.

Oooh, this new Millar looks promising indeed! 😀
And yay for The Book of Boba Fett!!! 😀
I’ll be watching The Witcher, but without any expectations, sadly 😉 As for Spider-Man, I have high hopes for it, indeed, especially since I spotted Molina in the trailer! Matrix… Well, let’s say I’m a bit wary, but I’ll definitely go and watch it.

Loads of things to look forward to! I really hope they all surprise us, exceed our expectations, and impress us in some way. I too am most wary about Matrix Resurrections but it’s too hard to ignore it completely though ahahah

“PRINCESS THÉRA, ONCE KNOWN AS EMPRESS ÜNA OF DARA, ENTRUSTED THE THRONE TO HER YOUNGER BROTHER IN ORDER TO JOURNEY TO UKYU-GONDÉ TO WAR WITH THE LYUCU.” Way too many names in this single sentence to remember who is who and what is what. How do you deal with remembering all that when you read fantasy books?
The comic book release indeed looks interesting! I look forward to reading your thoughts.
The Witcher – like you – I didn’t think season one was all that great, but I will probably end up watching number 2 with people who like it.
Ah the Matrix. I fear that it’s not going to be as good as we all hope it will be. But, nonetheless, it will be cool to see a story we were used to sooooo long ago.
A new King’s Man? I had no idea this was even in the works. Thanks for the heads-up. This might be something I go and see before the end of the year. Looks great!

Hahahah I think it just comes down to immersion and repetition (the more you read it, the more you naturally associate them to the right people and places.
I think I’m mostly going to let fans guide my decision to check out S2 of The Witcher. S1 was rough and I’d need some good convincing to think that S2 is worth my time now hahaha
Yep, Matrix: Resurrections is going to be a nice nostalgic trip now memory lane but I hope the quality of the story makes it worthwhile…
Yep. I do have to admit that the 2nd movie in that franchise was pretty bad. I hope King’s Man will redeem it all for me!

To me, it’s become somewhat of a classic (King’s Man), so chances are I will like it 😉 Light-heartedness and action scenes! *fingers crossed*

I’m in the same boat as you are with Ken Liu, having only read short fiction. But I do have the first 2 books in the series and very much want to start it. I can’t wait to see what you think of King of Spies. I love the cover design and the story sounds like it has some potential. I haven’t tried The Witcher TV series (and probably won’t anytime soon just because I don’t have easy access) but I’ve loved the books I’ve read so far, which were a couple anthologies. I’m curious about some of the movies you listed, but others I’ll hold off judgement on until I learn more. Good luck tackling that time management monster this month, Lashaan!

I’ll be curious to hear your thoughts on Ken Liu’s stuff, even if it’s indirectly through Goodreads! I’m very much intrigued by King of Spies too. So much potential in the idea. Hopefully, it’ll get enough support till the end. I still haven’t tried the Witcher books but I did try another series by the author this year (I think) and it didn’t compel me as much as I’d hoped it would. I look forward to trying the books, maybe, next year though. Thanks, Todd! I wish the same for you too! 😀

We still can’t get Spiderman tickets 😢 our country is currently in evening lockdown… so I think cinemas are still waiting to hear if they are going to extend that or if they can do evening showings again by then. We are sooooo excited for it! It’s Dave’s bday weekend then so it would be great if we can go… but if not, we just get drunk and watch Witcher. Not bad either

Oh snap, that would’ve been nice but I think you’ve found yourself in a win-win situation there! 😀 I hope you both make the most out of that special weekend and the month as well!

“crazy, chaotic, and cold period” << 😭😭 so true. I'm trying to be besties with time management, but it's hard. Ah well. I'm trying to remain positive that the year will end on a good note.
Looking forward to Spider-Man & Matrix too.

Hahahaha I think it’ll forever be a love-hate relationship. 😛 We’d have to be billionaires to abandon responsibilities just so we can reeeeaaaalllly be besties with time management. 😀 Hope you get around to your most anticipated stuff in December, Zezee!

Ooh, I didn’t know about the TV show of Station Eleven. I enjoyed the novel, so I may have to look into that. A new Matrix movie! Not sure about that…. I absolutely adored the first one, but was not impressed by the sequels. True, December is a little crazy – hope you manage to do everything you want to!

Ouuuuh, I think I remember reading your review for Station Eleven too. I hope the show doesn’t disappoint you if you get around to checking it out. Yep. Matrix Resurrections is going to be tricky. Let’s pray it’ll surprise us in the right way. Hope December proves to be a sweet month for you!
