  1. I thought that Hawkeye was extremely good, currently my second favourite of these MCU series (behind WandaVision, which was perfect). I agree that the big surprise character was a bit misused in the final episode, hopefully they rectify that in future series. I did enjoy the use of Yelena (who was announced before the show was aired), and she had great chemistry with Hailee Steinfeld. Would personally love a movie or show with just the two of them.

    1. I’m really glad to hear that! I too enjoyed WandaVision and its original take on superhero shows. Wasn’t it so odd how they handled our beloved big guy? I do hope that they have other plans for him cause that send-off was really saddening as a fan! I’m totally with you with Yelena. Yelena and Kate together was magical!!!! We totally need more of them in the future. They should do some kind of Young Avengers or something and get them paired up again. I’m all in for that! 😀

    1. She sure has a strong personality, doesn’t she? It was fun to have that kind of character on a neighborhood-level superhero show though. Hahah! I’m glad to hear he could help you out on that level. Have you had the chance to check out Black Widow to understand Yelena’s character?

  2. Glad to see the stakes aren’t too terribly high. That’s something that wears me out with superhero films, the constant universe-shattering stakes. I like these slightly lower-key tales.

  3. The trailer seems funny. When a movie starts with: “Don’t worry, I will be home for x,y,z,” you know sh!t is gonna go down. How did the daughter not know that? I would give it zero stars though for putting a dog on a poster and then making a movie (TV series in this case) that does not revolve around it. False advertising.

  4. I enjoyed this one quite a lot! After the gloom and doom of the movies this was a nice fluffy piece with enjoyable Christmas and family spirit. I actually think we’ve seen the last of Maya rather than Vincent, though 😉

    1. Quite glad to hear how much you enjoyed this! While I’m sure they got some good plans for Vincent, I just hope they don’t do him dirty like that. His relationship with Maya couldn’t be more rushed and him going in the streets like that to handle things doesn’t fit right me for a mastermind like him! 😉
