I had quite some fun with Gaiman’s retelling of Norse mythos! Totally accessible, totally enjoyable!
LEAST FAVOURITE BOOK.
Such a frustrating event. Talk about shoehorning as many villains as possible in a three-way conflict where you really don’t care how anything evolves! Pretty disappointing…
Out of the 6 movies I watched in February 2022, Dead Poets Society (1989) was my favourite. My girlfriend had urged me to watch this for quite some time, having loved it herself years ago. It was time to get a healthy dose of Robin Williams during such a terrifying time in the world.
What is Dead Poets Society (1989) about? At an elite, old-fashioned boarding school in New England, a passionate English teacher inspires his students to rebel against convention and seize the potential of every day, courting the disdain of the stern headmaster.
This was an engrossing and barbaric yawp at tradition and convention as it explores the pursuit of passion, the boundless freedom of creativity, and the emancipation of one’s self..
The last time I read anything by Asimov was to complete his Foundation trilogy. It was time for me to discover other beloved classics by the father of science-fiction!
I have begun a new chapter in my blogging life and would love to invite you over to my corner of the world to interact with me and find out more about what’s cooking in my life.
